Two Synchro watches with patches 1

Bangalore Watch Company MACH 1 Synchro

Bangalore Watch Company continues to honor its Indian roots with the limited edition MACH 1 Synchro, commemorating 25 years of the Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran formation acrobatics team. Suryakiran jets have red and white striping (the name means “rays of the sun”), and the dial echoes the design with its bold minute hand and the 9 jets in formation at…9 o’clock. As far as the base 40mm MACH 1, you can read our full review here. Limited to 125 pieces at $1,970 from Bangalore Watch Co.

breitling Navitimer B01 Singapore Airlines 4

Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 Singapore Airlines and Navitimer Automatic 38 Singapore Airlines

No stranger to collaborating with pilots and air forces, Breitling has just released two limited edition Navitimers for Singapore Airlines. The LEs are based on the blue dial Navitimer B01 Chronograph and the Navitimer Automatic 38 (not pictured), with the only changes being the use of gold hands and indices and the airlines logo on the crown; the caseback on the Automatic 38 features batik motif of the airline’s crew uniform. The chrono features Breitlings in-house Calibre 01 while the three-hander features an ETA 2824. Both models limited to 100 pieces at $5,300 for the Automatic 38 and $9,430 for the B01 Chronograph from Breitling.

Kurono Tokyo Calendrier Type I 5

Kurono Calendrier Type I

Another hypebeast from Kurono. With stunning hands and a lovely green dial, this new 38mm calendar model features a Miyota 9122 complete calendar movement. The case’s bezel calls to mind those of Hanhart’s classic pilots bezels. I know people love these, and I think this one is beautiful, but the hype machine around is chugging too fully—I can’t stomach dropping this kind of money on this kind of watch, much less paying what they go for secondhand. On top of that, Kurono—which in the past has made every release mistake possible—has indicated these will be limited but has not disclosed what quantity will be produced. Orders will open globally on August 11th at 3:00 PM London Time after an initial five-hour Japan-only order window. Limited to an unknown number at $1,786 from Kurono.
