Belgian brand Gavox is continuing its partnership with the Belgian Air Force, and this time, its raising money for charity. If nothing else, it’s an opportunity to own a watch with a neat story while helping out critically in-need people.

Gavox founder Michael Happé shares the news

50 watches from six Gavox model lines were flown in a Belgian Air Force Fighting Falcon F-16A. It should be clarified that the watches were carried in the plane, and not actually worn. All models are existing Gavox models, and each watch will be engraved on the side of the case with “1111km/h,” the speed the watches flew during a 75m low/fast pass.

10% of the proceeds will benefit two Belgian charities: Cap48, which helps individuals living with disabilities and children experiencing poverty, and Mothers for Peace, which fights for women’s rights and helps women who have been victims of conflict and violence.

The breakdown of the flown watches is thus: 2 Aurora, 2 Avidiver, 2 Squadron Steel, 2 Squadron Black, 10 Squadron Belgian Air Force, and 25 Curtiss. Each watch will be accompanied by a certificate signed by the pilot and Mr. Happé. You can learn more and purchase one of these jet-flown watches directly from Gavox.
